Sign a Petition for Septerra Core: The Movie:

Yes, you read that correctly. How would you like to see a movie based in the universe of Septerra Core?

Recently, Septerra Core won a poll at GA-RPG, coming out on top of the list of current RPG's that fans would like to see made into a movie. Septerra Core had some great competition in Baldur's Gate (which has had a comic book and a novel) and Fallout (rumored to be the next project for Interplay's Film Division). With Septerra Core recieving more votes than these two titles, it seems only natural that Septerra Core should make the leap to the big screen.

This world and these characters would be perfect for a fully animated feature film. The voice acting and the cinematic sequences in the game already give the story an epic feel. Several other fans and I are attempting to bring Septerra Core's potential to the movie studios. I have sent several e-mails to some studios, but I need your help, too.

Here are links to some movie studios and their contacts. Please send an e-mail to as many as you can, voicing your opinion on why Septerra Core would make a great movie. With the upcoming Final Fantasy movie, studios may be looking for another hot title to convert to a feature film. Septerra Core is a great example of a title that has the potential to make this transition with much success.

So, let the studio execs know what kind of movie you want to see, and start sending those letters! I'll add as many e-mail addresses and contact pages here as I can. If you know of a studio contact that I don't have listed here, please contact me

Remember that when you send these e-mails, please don't mention too many details about Septerra Core's characters, story, etc. as the movie studios may try to claim the ideas as their own original material. However, you should include Cathi Court's e-mail address so that the studio execs are able to contact her if they are interested in the project. Her e-mail address is court@valkyriestudios.com. Thank you.

Universal Studios:
Universal Studios Contact Page - This is a form you need to fill out...you may want to write your letter ahead of time, then cut and paste your letter into the form field.

Paramount Studios:
Paramount Studios Movie Comments - The only e-mail address I could find on their site. Coincidentally, Paramount is part of Viacom, as in Viacom New Media, who was Septerra Core's original publisher. :)

MGM Studios:
MGM Contact Page - This is the e-mail form for movies. I guess just choose "Other" as the topic. As with the Universal Studios form, you may want to write your letter ahead of time, and then cut-and-paste it into the form field.

I'll get some more links up as soon as I find them. Surprisingly, a lot of movie studios don't have any contact info on their websites. :(
