Unofficial Sites
and Pages:
- The
Outer Core -- the only Russian fan-site and the host of this strip.
(in Russian)
- The
World Bazaar -- arguably the best layout and design, but not a
lot of info.
- SC
Bastion -- provides many links to walkthrough and other sources
of information, good screenshot collection there too, but the best
part is its original projects, especially petitions.
- Corefactor
-- a lot of info about the game. Host of the United Forum.
- SC
Gateway -- after departure of Phalzyr from Corefactor,
this site looks like a best source to get info on SC: LotC
(SC
Bastion being the other one).
- Septerra
Core Fan Fiction Archive -- just opened. Sounds like a good idea,
but how many fan-fictions are out there? Answer: 1 (this strip).
- Shell
2 -- the only German fan-site. Has English news page. (In German)
- SC
Cashe -- terrible design and layout, but quite original with Fan
of the Month contest and other neat ideas.
- Septerra
Core@Roleplaying Domain @Tactical Animal -- pretty good info about
the game, items, weapons, etc. Probably will be quite helpful and
may become very popular. Though it's not a fan-site.
- The
Helgak's Head -- could become pretty good site.
- Wind
City -- just opened so very little is there.
- Core
Central -- nothing special there.
- SC
Legends -- opened not-so-long ago and looks like a solid site
with usual things plus a bit more. Storyline of SC in novel format
easily outweights simple design.
- Seven
Winds -- the only Japanese fan-site. Looks like it's been deserted
though. (In Japanese)
Misc. Site and
Pages:
- United
Forum -- the best message board. Ton of fans, topics, excellent
design. People from Valk.
St. post there very often. Pretty much the best place to go and
get your questions answered.
- SC
Forum@Monolith -- pretty much sucks. The board script is a mess
so it's very hard to see new messages. Don't go there unless you bough
a US version of SC: LotC and have a technical problem
(actually, you can get help on UF
too).
- Kye-Kye's
SC Page - a ton of art from SC: LotC by the guy responsible
for 3D and FMV in SC: LotC
- Secret
Character -- hehe, funny pic at Jim Weisz's page (Mr. Weisz was
the main programmer of SC: LotC).
